The Templeton Foundation recently awarded over three million dollars in grant funding to support a new project called “Varieties of Understanding: New Perspectives from Psychology, Philosophy, and Theology,” for which Prof. Tania Lombrozo is the Psychology Director. The project will support two postdoctoral researchers in the Concepts & Cognition lab for two years each, beginning Fall 2014. The positions are designated for one psychologist and one philosopher. The grant will also provide over one million dollars in subawards for research on the psychology of understanding by other researchers.
